To encourage the children to eat more healthily we have a fruit bowl in each of our classrooms. We encourage parents to ask there child to choose one piece of fruit a week to bring for the playschool fruit bowl, the fruit is chopped up and shared out at snack time. We usually get a great variety which enables children to try other fruits, some of which they may never have tried before.
Outdoor play is an integral part of our curriculum and the children play out in all weathers. Please ensure that your child has the appropriate clothing with them which is clearly marked with their name.
